" Every recipe is from the private collection of a great cook "
Food from Friends is a feel-good book - like a warm hug
Cooks like to share their ideas, their recipes, their food. And when a friend needs help they say 'let me make a meal' or 'let me bring some food', or ,'I'll do some baking'.
So, when some of our best cooks, food writers and chefs were asked if they would help the Matthew Fraser Motor Neuron Disease Charitable Trust by donating recipes for a proposed cookbook the response was immediate and generous.
Food from Friends is a feel-good book - like a warm hug. The recipes are inspirational, achievable, delicious. And inventive. The book is packed with dishes for every taste - cream cheese with orange and roses, pasta with vodka and lemons, chicken with figs and Marsala, fritters with courgettes and feta, clever tarts and spicy pickles. There are vegetarian nibbles to rich meaty casseroles. And deserts that look grand, but are easy.
Use this book with confidence and pleasure; every recipe is from the private collection of a great cook.
All proceeds from the sale of this book go to the Matthew Fraser Motor Neuron Disease Charitable Trust.
